Our business is growing rapidly with more than 150,000 customers in Kenya. In this context, we are seeking to onboard a Facilities Manager to oversee the general maintenance and fulfilment of all support services for promotion of a conducive operating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and ensure all technical/infrastructural maintenance works are carried out in accordance with agreed terms of service.

  • Develop
    SOPs and training programs for technical/support staff in line with facilities management.

  • Oversee facility related procurement ensuring adherence to SLAs.

  • Support operational continuity by coordinating, and executing the renewal of office leases and service agreements.

  • Champion set health and safety standards and suggest improvements in line with promotion of safety and security of staff.

  • Monitor and optimize operational costs in line with best business practices.

  • Oversee space planning and all office renovation projects to ensure they are within approved budget.

  • Keep abreast of security developments and provide weekly security status updates and reports to management.

  • Manage office inventory/supplies ensuring spend is within approved budget.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.

  • Minimum (5) years’ experience managing a busy facility.

  • Demonstrable leadership capability.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Planning and organizing ability.
