Water for Good Training and Development Manager Jobs in Ethiopia; The Training and Development Manager is a strategic role responsible for designing, developing, and facilitating training programs across Water for Good’s global locations. The role supports employee growth by implementing tools and resources for professional development.

Responsibilities

Training & Learning

Design, implement, and deliver training programs aligned with organizational goals.

Deliver sessions using classroom, virtual, and workshop methods.

Communicate with stakeholders to promote initiatives and gather feedback.

Evaluate training effectiveness and improve materials/programs.

Track training efforts, attendance, and completion rates.

Stay updated on HR, educational, and employee engagement trends.

Other duties as assigned.

Employee Development

Cultivate a culture of continuous learning.

Work with HR to implement strategic programs that engage and retain employees.

Champion a strengths-based approach to development.

Partner with supervisors to assess employee strengths and career aspirations.

Promote resources and tools for employee self-development.

Assist country HR teams with performance evaluations.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Passion for Water for Good’s mission.

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Communication, Education, or related field.

5+ years of

adult learning and training content development experience.

Advanced to fluent English and French language skills.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

Proficiency with multimedia training platforms and methods.

Legally eligible to work in Ethiopia; no sponsorship provided.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using project management software (e.g., Asana).

Master’s degree in HR, Business, Non-Profit Leadership, Education, or related field.

Physical Qualifications

Prolonged periods of desk/computer work.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
