Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Germany Field Driver Jobs in South Sudan; VSF Germany seeks to recruit qualified and well‑experienced staff for the position of Field Driver (1 Position). The role is based 100% at the VSF Germany office in Kapoeta East, South Sudan. The holder of this position will provide reliable driving services and support environmental and social safeguards oversight for all projects under the South Sudan Country Program. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide reliable and secure driving services to staff and visitors.

  • Check oil, tires, lights, water, petrol, nuts, brakes, and tools before trips.

  • Ensure the vehicle is clean and tidy at all times.

  • Use vehicles only when trips are authorized by supervisors.

  • Secure vehicle equipment and lock vehicles when not in use.

  • Ensure regular servicing and maintenance of vehicles.

  • Maintain records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, mileage, and trip logs.

  • Understand and comply with organizational vehicle guidelines and traffic laws.

  • Perform daily upkeep and cleaning of project vehicles.

  • Ensure readiness of vehicles by checking oil, water, fuel, tires, and other parts.

  • Deliver official project documentation
    as required.

  • Drive VSF Germany personnel to project areas as assigned.

    Experience, Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Completion of secondary education with a valid driving license for field vehicles.

  • Minimum of 4 years’ work experience as a light vehicle driver.

  • Safe driving record, knowledge of driving rules, and basic vehicle repair skills.

  • At least 2 years’ experience working with International/National NGOs.

  • Good knowledge and work experience in the project area.

  • Language: Fluent in Toposa, fair in Arabic and English.
