    Role overview

  • You will conduct a research to help deepen VSO Ghana and partners’ understanding about the extent of exclusion from education and employable skills of adolescent girls in slump communities in Ghana and recommend practical ways by which VSO can contribute to securing a future for these girls.

    Skills, qualifications and experience
    Ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Must have a minimum qualification of a postgraduate degree preferably
    in education
  • Must have appreciable research experience in a developing context. Research experience in Ghana’s education sector is a plus
  • Evidence of practical research in alternative/complementary education, gender and youth employability.
