Vodafon Middleware Developer Specialist Jobs in Ghana
Work with Architecture and Strategy team on middleware/integration strategy for the OpCo. Responsible for activities relating to the Enterprise middleware platform within Vodafone Ghana as well as Design and development of interfaces to integrate key applications running within Vodafone Ghana
Responsibilities:
Adherence with Vodafone Group Standards and activities on Integration
Implementation and maintenance of SOA Governance model within Vodafone Ghana
Deliver integration component of major projects within Vodafone Ghana
Continual review and assessment of the efficiency of middleware platform
Review the performance of Enterprise Middleware platform, identifying performance gaps, developing, and implementing improvement plans.
Identify business and technical needs to provide the necessary tactical/ strategic steps to evolve the business solutions
Identify and fix issues in technology and process
Define policies and standards for solution technologies and reflective of a wide spectrum of maturity in the different OpCos
Responsible for the lifecycle management and technical evolution of solutions and architecture in the Global Solutions Catalogue (GSC) and IT Application Architecture Standards.
Performance tuning and monitoring of platform with excellent troubleshooting skills
Responsible for ensuring the support of Global /OpCo roadmaps,
identifying synergy opportunities where possible
Responsible for monitoring, bug fix and resolving production support incidents
Provide the required IT & functional capabilities in collaboration with the business/technical teams
Responsible for alignment and integration of solutions with all other Business Support Systems
Identify and evaluate new trends within IT business solutions
Perform product feasibility assessments.
Responsible for managing third party IT/IP vendors
Maintain expertise as SME in middleware architecture design and strategy, and define architectural standards and best practices
Advise and share experience on complex issues by providing technical guidance to project team members (consultancy).
Support of Vodafone project teams in defining and enhancing Vodafone’s advanced solutions
Continued monitoring of all middleware interfaces to source systems.
Provide regular statistical reports for system performance and capacity
Ensure project delivery processes are fully adhered to.
Define technical requirement specifications
Definition of Technical Options, High Level Design and implementation strategy.
Evaluate and provide recommendations on new technology solutions and integration with legacy systems.
