Job Description

Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, The incumbent will ensure Maintenance of all Electrical equipment, Lighting fixtures & fittings and Installations, ensure proper co-ordination and implementation of all tasks that involves Electrical works,

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the working areas and workshops are kept clean at all times.
  • Ensure all machines in operation conform to safety regulations as per Factories Act.
  • Ensure team uses protective equipment and clothing at all times.
  • Replacing all the burnt out bulbs within the premises
  • Inspection of all public areas for any electric faults against the checklists
  • Cary out minor electrical installation within the building
  • Service and repair of electrical equipment
    Guest rooms maintenance
  • Perform the tasks as assigned by the supervisor feed back to the supervisor or the Assistant Engineer
  • Test the generator weekly and avail the report to the Asst. Engineer
  • Carry out preventive maintenance as per schedule
  • Ensures all hazardous installations/ equipment are isolated, warning signs indicating e.g. Out of order, Do not operate are in place.
  • Ensuring that all machine rooms and workshops are clean and safe from live electrical and other dangerous equipment
  • Has a working knowledge of FTO Department Brand Standards.
  • To have complete Knowledge of Electrical and MEP Installations
  • Ensure HACCP and COSHH policies are strictly adhered to.

    Qualifications

  • High School or secondary diploma required
    Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • 1-2 Years experience in the operation and maintenance of Electrical Equipments
  • Experience in operation of BMS
    Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment
  • Quick at problem resolution
  • Engineering Administration system

    Responsibilities

  • Answer all incoming calls, connect them to the appropriate extension in an efficient, friendly and caring manner according to the Kempinski standards.
  • Write down messages accurately for our guests and deliver messages in a timely manner.
  • Handle guests' requests for DND (Do Not Disturb) and confidential status.
  • Handle personal wakeup call requests for guests according to the LQA standard and automatic wakeup call requests for group and crew guests.
  • Answer all guest questions / requests in a friendly and caring manner, take appropriate actions or if needed, refer the matters to the relevant persons to handle. It may be providing information or assistance to make an outside call or handling a complaint, etc.
  • In case of emergency, handles all communications for the hotel whilst serving as the communication center.
  • Keep a complete record of each DDD (Domestic Direct Dial) and IDD (International Direct Dial). Coordinate with front office reception all telephones charges to ensure they are billed and collected from guests.
  • Monitor TV channels in addition to outlets' and public area's music to ensure smooth and proper functioning.
  • In case of emergency, handle all communications for the hotel whilst serving as the communication center.
  • Keep abreast of telephone directory, new staff and leavers, emergency procedures, special promotions and general hotel product knowledge.
  • Maintain the neatness of their working area at all time.

    Qualifications

  • Basic Certification in Front Office Operations.
  • One-year experience in a customer service-oriented position.
  • Local language – excellent oral and written skills (as applicable)
  • English – excellent oral and written skills

  • Listening and oral skills

    Responsibilities

  • Communication of hotel & company philosophy and internal hotel representation.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of the hotel and the geographical layout of the city / surroundings.
  • Knowledgeable about all VIPs in-house, hotel functions and special events.
  • Collect as much feedback information on VIPs as possible (on daily basis) by checking e.g. Google, Opera PMS company wide, briefs and distribute this information within the hotel to all relevant departments by e.g. daily guest fact sheets/reports, newsletter, etc. and ensure information is updated in the guest profile.
  • Welcome, facilitate and bid farewell to as many guests as possible.
  • Top VIPs MUST be welcomed upon arrival, escorted to their room and bid farewell upon departure.
  • Liaise with FOM and GM, to prepare tailor made guest itinerary for Top VIP’s when appropriate and coordinate VIP greetings and departures – ahead of time.
  • Obtain as much information about a guest’s stay to be entered in the guest history.
  • Welcome visitors to the hotel, assist with general information, internal promotions and directions.
  • Maintain a record of all complaints and requests, follow up and inform concerned operating departments.
  • Perform special projects and related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Manager level position in Front Office or Guest
  • Relations preferably in an international five star hotel
  • Food & Beverage and Sales experience is a plus
  • English – excellent oral and written skills
  • Additional language – beneficial

  • Provide daily pick up and see off service for the guests booked for airport transportation.
  • Provide available information pertaining to all hotel services.
  • Coordinate Concierge regarding the transportation request and updated flight changes in order to meet the guest always on time.
  • Familiarize with all hotel and city on-going and upcoming activities in order to provide satisfactory service to all the hotel guests.
  • Assist the guests (especially the VIPs) at the airport with all matters concerning their departures, luggage, handling airport ticket reservation and reconfirmation in order to provide exceptional service to the guests at the airport.
  • Promote and maintain good public relationship with airline offices, customs, police office and other airport personnel in order to have better communication concerning daily operation.
  • Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.

    Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent, preferably with a specialization in Hotel/Restaurant or with a College certificate.
  • 2 years experience in any other Service Industry
  • Valid Certificate of Conduct from CID.
