Victory Farms Systems Lead Jobs in Kenya;The ERPNext / Frappe Lead Developer will own the architecture, reliability, and integrations of the ERPNext platform across Victory Farms’ group entities. The role involves leading a small developer team, ensuring system uptime, managing integrations, and driving ERPNext adoption across departments.

Key Responsibilities

ERPNext / Frappe Platform Ownership

  • Own ERPNext architecture across group entities (custom doctypes, scripts, workflows, valuation logic).

  • Ensure correctness of workflows, system uptime, and background job health.

  • Perform controlled remediation with safeguards, change control, and rollback discipline.

  • Manage releases, patches, upgrades, user roles, permissions, and data security under Kenya Data Protection Act (2019).

    Integrations & Data Capture

  • Design and maintain integrations (M‑Pesa/Daraja, Power Automate/SharePoint, third‑party APIs).

  • Own upstream capture logic (feed/mortality logging, stock movement, purchase‑to‑receipt workflows).

  • Ensure clean data for downstream platforms (Snowflake, Power BI).

  • Support offline‑first field applications (Victory Feed Log PWA) and ERPNext Stock Entries pipelines.

    Team Leadership & Standards

  • Lead and mentor a small developer team, enforcing development and release standards.

  • Own change management, documentation, SOPs, and user training.

  • Maintain after‑hours support/on‑call model
    and manage vendor relationships.

  • Stay current with ERPNext/Frappe releases and recommend improvements.

    Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

  • 4+ years’ ERPNext/Frappe development experience, with leadership exposure.

  • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Frappe framework.

  • Experience integrating ERPNext with external systems (M‑Pesa/Daraja, Microsoft 365/Power Automate).

  • Familiarity with MariaDB/MySQL, SQL, HTML, CSS, REST APIs.

  • Proven leadership and team‑management skills.

  • Strong problem‑solving, project‑management, and communication skills.

  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi‑entity environments; Agile methodologies a plus.
