Job Description

Responsibilities:

Check and Post CRVs with their deposit slips and cross referenced;

Check and make paid stamps on paid documents and cross referenced;

Prepare payments on CPVs and cheque, submit to Finance Manager for checking and approval respectively before issuing the cheque.

Check and give sequential number for deposit slips of sales invoices and write invoice number on deposit slips, then for posting;

Follow up and check the correctness of collections and deposits.

Follow up invoices not received on time and report on time.

Check sales invoices and receipts vouchers against their deposit slips for timely deposit, if not report on time.

Check and prepare monthly government obligations payments on time, like, Vat declarations, Income Tax, Withholding (yearly), rentals, utilities etc.

Take monthly and yearly stock count and submit report to the Finance Manager.

Consult the Finance Manager for any job-related problems

Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Requirement

Education: minimum Diploma/BA degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience: minimum 2 years of relevant work experience .

Technical skills: fluent in Amharic and English (speaking and writing), good financial knowledge and skills, strong administration skills, strong knowledge on Ethiopian rules & regulations, strong computer skills, very good planner. Good computer skills, knowledge of Excel , Word and Peach tree is a must.

Social skills: good leadership skills, high level of integrity and accountability, able to adapt and show leadership under challenging circumstances, serious and hard-working, eager to learn, good feedback mentality, good communications skills, structured.
