Duties

The Unit Lead for Program Analytics within the USAID Health Office will be responsible for overseeing the results reporting processes, specifically the PEPFAR Site Improvement Through Monitoring System (SIMS), and the Circle project data and monitoring support, for the health office, which has a program portfolio of close to $400 M/year, assisting with monitoring and maintaining the program’s budget including timeliness of incremental funding actions), and new award procedures.

The job holder is required to perform work-related travel.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in project management, monitoring and evaluation, financial management, or international development programming.
  • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Public Health Administration or sociology, research methods, business administration, public policy, etc, is required.
  • Language;Level IV English (fluent) (speaking, writing and reading) is required (this may be tested)
  • This assignment requires a strong ability to work with and sometimes lead teams, and often with high pressure and time constraints.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a challenging environment are essential.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software; the ability to operate standard office machines (i.e. PC, copier, fax, etc.); strong organizational skills; strong writing skills; and good judgment in the analysis, interpretation and application of USG policy and procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations. (This may be tested)
