Duties

  • This position is located in the Human Resources Office and supports the work of the two Human Resources Assistants, FSN-8 and the Supervisory Human Resources Assistant, FSN-09. Supervision is provided by the Supervisory HR Assistant.

  • This office is responsible for all aspects of human resources administration for Americans and Locally Employed Staff of STATE, MCC, DOD and CDC (about 207 employees). Incumbent must be familiar with and strive to meet all Universal Service Standards under their portfolio.

    Qualifications and Evaluations

    Requirements:

  • Experience: Two years of clerical experience. Six months of this experience should be in a Human Resources Office is required.

  • Job Knowledge: Must have good knowledge of general office operations and procedural requirements pertaining to functions performed in the Human Resources Office.

    Education Requirements:

  • Completion of Secondary school required plus Two years Office/Secretarial training required.

    Evaluations:

  • “This may be tested”

  • Language: Level III (good working knowledge) is English required.

    Skills and Abilities:

  • Level II typing (Minimum of 40 wpm). Computer literate and experienced in MS Word and Excel.

    Qualifications:

  • All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications and complete a mandatory probationary period for
    LE Staff.
