U.S. Embassy in Ghana Laborer Jobs

Duties

Incumbent performs general laboring chores throughout the Mission, working primarily in the Facilities Maintenance area and in the building maintenance operations.

Provides efficient and effective service to all customers. Works in a general laboring team to perform non-skilled chores in carrying, lifting heavy objects, moving items from one place to the next, under the general direction of the crew foreman or other FSN position.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

Experience: Six months work experience performing manual laboring work is required.

Job Knowledge: Must have general knowledge of working in a team environment and understand general etiquette of working in a company.

Education Requirements:

Completion of primary school is required.

Evaluations:

Language: Good working knowledge in English (Speaking, Reading and Writing) is required. (Language proficiency may be tested.)

Skills and Abilities: Ability to carry heavy loads and follow directions. Must be able to work in a team environment.
