U.S. Embassy and Consulate in Nigeria Supply Clerk Jobs

Duties

The Supply Clerk (Expendables) manages the delivery, issuance, storage, disposal and inventory control of expendable supplies. The position is in the General Services Section and under the supervision of the GSO Supply Supervisor.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

Experience: Two (2) years of supply related experience in supply/warehousing/expendables or property/supply management is required.

Job Knowledge:

Knowledge of supply chain, warehousing operations, and/or property/expendables management is required.

Knowledge in computerized inventory and stock control data programs is required. Knowledge of local vendors and their procedures is required.

Education Requirements:

Completion of Secondary School is required.

Evaluations:

This may be tested. Please specify your level of proficiency in the language listed.

Language: Good working knowledge in speaking/ reading/writing of English is required.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong recordkeeping skills, technical & administrative skills and attention to details is required. Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications is required.

Must be able to lift a maximum of 51lbs (23kg).
