Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop standardized maternal and neonatal indicators, medical records, and databases embedded in routine health information systems.

  • Provide clinical input for data quality assurance, monitoring reports, and dashboards.

  • Track updates in clinical practice guidelines and relate them to quality of care.

  • Support multisite maternal and neonatal quality improvement, including peer‑to‑peer networks, data use, QI reviews, and cross‑site learning sessions.

  • Participate in data analysis and develop written outputs.

  • Participate in training activities, study workshops, and meetings.

  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.

    Job Specifications

  • Registered specialist medical practitioner with MMed (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) or equivalent from a recognized institution.

  • Master’s Degree in Public Health or Epidemiology.

  • At least 2 publications in referred journals.

  • Clear interest in health systems and health services research.

  • Prior work on team‑based projects and demonstrable organizational skills.
