University of Nairobi Fellowship in Gynaecological Oncology


Applications are invited for a two year full-time fellowship in Gynaecological Oncology (Gyn Onc) to be administered by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology University of Nairobi beginning 1st November, 2018.

Applicant must be holder of a Masters' degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from a recognized university and has demonstrated keen interest in Gynaecological Oncology by research, publication or engagement in clinical work in the discipline.

Must have practiced as an Obstetrician Gynaecologist, in a hospital or a clinical setting, for at least two years.

In addition to submitting application form for postgraduate admission, individuals will be expected to provide:

  • Evidence of Registration or eligibility for registration with Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board (KMPDB)
  • Specialist recognition certificate
  • Evidence of proficiency in English Language as TOEFL/IELTS or evidence of at least 12 years of continuous instruction in English Language.
  • Two referees.

  • Applicants should be of sound mental and physical health, and should have conducted themselves with integrity with a manner befitting the medical profession and in accordance with the KMPDB manual on code of conduct and medical ethics and public officer's Ethics Act 2003, Part III General code of Conduct and Ethics. Apply By 1st November, 2018
  • Only Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview. The successful Fellows, will be expected to obtain a valid professional indemnity cover during the period of training.
