University of Kabianga Deputy Finance Officer Jobs in Kenya



Requirements

  • CPA (K).

  • Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

  • At least fifteen (15) years relevant work experience, five (5) years as Senior Accountant grade 13 or equivalent.

  • Registered member of ICPAK or equivalent professional body.

  • Practical knowledge of ICT in relevant area.


    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible to Finance Officer for overall accounting and financial functions of a large section.

  • Organize accounting and finance unit structure to facilitate communication, delegation, and segregation of duties.

  • Implement adequate accounting systems to maintain sound financial records.

  • Supervise overall finance function.

  • Maintain high accounting standards and integrity.

  • Assist Finance Officer in implementing financial policies.

  • Supervise and develop staff in the department.

  • Satisfy requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

  • Perform any other duty assigned by the Supervisor.
