University of Kabianga Assistant Farm Manager Jobs in Kenya


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Agricultural Economics or equivalent plus at least three (3) years relevant work experience.

  • OR Diploma in Farm Management or equivalent plus at least six (6) years relevant work experience.

  • Computer literate.

  • Certificate in Business Management, Project Management, or Marketing will be an added advantage.


    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Farm Manager in day‑to‑day operations of the University Farm.

  • Ensure production targets of each farm unit are achieved.

  • Supervise staff and maintain attendance records.

  • Supervise students on attachment.

  • Conduct field patrols/scouting and prepare reports.

  • Collect soil samples as directed by the Farm Manager.

  • Maintain records of farm inputs and outputs.

  • Safeguard farm inputs and outputs.

  • Perform any other relevant duty assigned by the Supervisor.
