Qualifications & Requirements

  • Earned PhD degree in the relevant area of specialty.

  • Minimum of twelve (12) years university teaching experience, with at least three (3) years as full-time Associate Professor.

  • At least sixty (60) publication points, forty (40) of which must be from refereed scholarly journals since appointment as Associate Professor.

  • Successfully supervised to completion at least six (6) Master’s students and two (2) PhD students since appointment as Associate Professor.

  • Evidence of successfully securing at least two (2) research grants since appointment as Associate Professor.

  • Evidence of attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars, or workshops.

  • Evidence of active participation and leadership in university activities.

  • Evidence of continued research output.
