General Requirements:

All applicants must satisfy the Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya by getting clearances from the following bodies:

  • Higher Education Loans Board (HELB);
  • Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC);
  • Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA);
  • Credit Reference Bureau (CRB);
  • Commission for University Education (CUE) and
  • Current certificate of good conduct from the National Police Service (NPS).

    Submission of Applications:

    University of Eldoret Senior Internal Audit Assistant I - SCALE 8: REF: UOE/ADM/SAA/VC/03/02/2018 Jobs

    Responsibilities

  • Checking the accuracy of revenue received and verifying banking of the same
  • Examining petty cash payments to ascertain proper authorization
  • Examining all books of accounts to ascertain that transactions have been made in accordance with the regulations and vouch their accuracy and propriety
  • Carrying out the audit of records of functional department
  • Undertake a set of audit assignments under the overall direction of the audit team leader
  • Any other duty as may be assigned by a Senior Officer.

    Qualifications

  • CPA Part II/ACCA II
  • At least nine (9) years relevant work experience
  • Proficiency of Information and Communication Technology
  • Management training lasting not less than two (2) weeks

    University of Eldoret Internal Audit Assistant I - SCALE 6: REF: UOE/ADM/AA/VC/04/02/2018 Jobs

    Responsibilities

  • At least five (5) years relevant working experience
  • Computer literacy

    University of Eldoret Driver II - SCALE 6: REF: UOE/ADM/D/VC/05/02/2018 Jobs

    Responsibilities

  • Operation of vehicles
  • Detection and reporting common faults
  • Keeping the vehicles clean
  • Carrying out vehicle repairs
  • Maintenance of work ticket for vehicles assigned
  • Ensuring safety of the vehicle
  • Any other duty as may be assigned by a Senior Officer.

    Qualifications

  • Occupational/Motor Vehicle Trade Test II
    Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade of at least C- (minus)or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Valid and clean driving license at least class ABC or D free from any endorsement
    P.S.V licence (for bus and minibus drivers).
  • At least seven (7) years’ work experience as a driver in heavy commercial transport
    Certificate of Good Conduct
  • Basic Certificate on first Aid and occupational health and safety/defensive driving
  • Evidence of good public relations
    Clearance certificate from AA
  • Vision testing certificate
