United Nations Environment Programme Marketing Intern Jobs in Kenya;The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is offering an internship in the Global Funds Mitigation and Transparency Section of the Climate Change Division. The role supports the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns to increase visibility and uptake of UNEP products and initiatives across partner countries.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Campaigns

Support development and execution of campaigns across digital and traditional channels.

Assist with creation of marketing materials, presentations, flyers, infographics, and social media content.

Contribute to digital marketing activities including social media management, content development, and audience engagement.

Research & Analysis

Research target audiences, markets, trends, and stakeholder needs.

Translate complex technical information into clear and engaging marketing products.

Monitor campaign performance and analyze audience engagement and feedback.

Events & Outreach

Support marketing activities for workshops, conferences, launches, and events.

Assist with coordination, documentation, and follow‑up of campaigns.

Participate in brainstorming sessions to identify innovative approaches.

Creative Tools

Use Canva, Adobe Suite, CorelDRAW, and other platforms to develop marketing assets.

Prepare briefs, presentations, campaign reports, and knowledge products.

Qualifications

Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. programme in marketing, business, digital media, economics, environmental science, or related field.

Coursework or experience in digital/corporate marketing and public relations desirable.

Strong knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Teams required.

Ability to use creative tools (Adobe, CorelDRAW, Canva) desirable.

Familiarity with social listening tools (Hootsuite, Meltwater, Brandwatch) desirable.

Languages

Fluency in spoken and written English required.

French desirable.

Work Location & Duration

Home‑based internship.

Duration: As per UNEP guidelines.
