United Bank for Africa Head - Digital Banking Jobs in Kenya;Provide strategic direction and promote product development within the region while planning and overseeing the implementation of the Group’s product strategies in the country subsidiary.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Stay updated on economic, technological, environmental, political, and social trends impacting Electronic & Transaction Banking.

  • Make decisions and implement e‑banking policies as advised by the Board or Group Head of E‑Banking.

  • Research and recommend product development priorities.

  • Appraise products and activities for consistency with the Bank’s vision and mission, recommending changes where necessary.

  • Supervise product heads, establish job descriptions, provide training, and deliver regular performance feedback.

  • Conduct market sizing and surveys to determine market and competitor positions.

  • Own subsidiary financial performance; participate actively in budgeting and long‑term planning.

  • Assess feasibility studies and analyze proposed changes for long‑term success.

  • Establish service measurement systems.

  • Create and sustain a team culture that encourages high‑quality service and performance.

  • Support policies ensuring all team members have the skills and knowledge to fulfill their functions.

    Education

  • Tertiary degree in any field.

  • MBA and French language proficiency are added advantages.

    Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years’ working experience, with at least 3 years in the banking industry.

  • Background in Strategy, Product Development/Management, Marketing, or Sales preferred.
