Unique Personnel Payroll Manager Jobs in South Africa

East Rand

To process, control and manage the payroll function ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and processing and analysis of monthly payrolls for approximately 1500 employees; including in relation to wages, salaries and executive payroll, overtime, commission, new engagements, terminations, status changes, income tax changes, deductions, rate changes, retro-active adjustments and special pays. Continuous improvement on controls.

B.Com or similar graduate qualification, with relevant majors i.e. Accounting, Finance, Taxation or Human Resources,

5 Years previous experience in the management of wages and salaries payrolls

Good understanding of income tax legislation and associated payroll implications,

Highly skilled/Advanced knowledge in payroll processing system (Sage VIP) – essential

Strong SAGE 300 people skills/ knowledge, which is critical for this role

Strong management skills

Must have handles payroll volumes of 1200 - 1800
