Unilever Territory Manager Jobs in Uganda;The Territory Manager will drive market development through coverage extension and growth initiatives, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and brand visibility.

The role manages KD (Key Distributor) operations, territory budgets, stock management, trade visits, and third‑party/government interactions while championing area safety and delivering turnover growth.

Responsibilities

  • Champion market development via coverage extension and growth initiatives

  • Prospect, demarcate territories, and manage KD appointments, appraisals, compliance, and replacements

  • Track KD ROI, data entry, analysis, and improvement execution

  • Manage KD staffing including deployment, supervision, appraisal, and discipline

  • Oversee territory budget management and implementation of company activities

  • Manage stock (physical and system), delivery follow‑up, and KD out‑of‑stock issues

  • Provide sales input into S&OP processes

  • Validate and approve claims

  • Manage trade visits and oversee third‑party/government agency interactions

  • Champion area safety agenda

  • Improved FCS score (BP, ECO, LPPC)

  • Numeric distribution expansion

  • KD health and working capital management

  • KD operational efficiency improvement

  • Brand visibility enhancement

  • Strong interpersonal relationship management

  • Customer management and selling essentials

  • POP execution and monitoring

  • Development of sales infrastructures and organization

  • Customer/channel investment strategy development

  • Customer relationship building

  • Field sales management

  • Selling, negotiation, financial, and analytical skills

  • Customer organizational awareness and people orientation

  • Third‑party management

    Qualifications

    Education

  • University graduate, preferably in Business or Social Sciences

    Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in FMCG organization

  • At least 2 years’ field experience in customer management
