Unilever CDIT Manager Jobs in Kenya;Responsible for leading Customer Development IT operations, master data governance, business reporting, systems support, and technology projects to enable efficient field sales execution. Ensures integrity of master data, reliability of sales systems, timely business reporting, and effective support of Customer Development technology platforms, including LeverEdge.

Key Accountabilities

Master Data Management & Governance

  • Own and oversee creation, maintenance, and governance of Customer Development master data.

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with company standards.

  • Develop and maintain master data policies, procedures, and controls.

  • Collaborate with U2K2 Master Data Management Team for seamless integration.

    Systems Support & Operations

  • Lead Service Desk and LeverEdge Support Team.

  • Ensure timely resolution of incidents, queries, and technical issues.

  • Monitor system performance and minimize downtime.

  • Serve as escalation point for CD systems issues.

    IT Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Manage deployment of new IT solutions, enhancements, and change requests.

  • Coordinate testing, UAT, deployment, and post‑implementation support.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support digital transformation projects.

    Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and automate reporting templates and dashboards.

  • Generate and distribute LeverEdge reports (Perfect Store, EFOS, FCS, COTC, Outlet Detail).

  • Provide insights to support decision‑making and performance improvement.

    Stakeholder Management

  • Act as liaison between Field Sales Teams and Head Office.

  • Represent CD in regional LeverEdge governance meetings.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes and technology.

    Process Governance & Compliance

  • Custodian of LeverEdge SOPs and business processes.

  • Ensure adherence to IT governance and system control requirements.

  • Act as primary contact for audits and implement corrective actions.

    Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage
    CD IT team.

  • Build team capabilities through coaching and training.

  • Establish clear objectives and performance expectations.

    Field Sales Payments Administration

  • Oversee calculation and processing of allowances and incentives (Lunch, Car Running, SFI, DSI).

  • Ensure timely and compliant payment processing.

    Key Performance Indicators

  • Master data accuracy and completeness.

  • Service Desk SLA compliance.

  • Systems uptime and availability.

  • Timeliness and accuracy of reports.

  • Successful delivery of IT projects.

  • Audit compliance.

  • User satisfaction with CD systems.

  • Accuracy and timeliness of incentive payments.

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business IT, or related field.

  • 5+ years’ experience in IT systems management, sales systems support, or master data management.

  • Experience managing business applications and reporting platforms.

  • Experience leading teams and managing stakeholders.

  • Experience with field sales automation systems (LeverEdge preferred).
