UNICEF Programme Associate Jobs in Nigeria;The Programme Associate provides specialized programme and administrative support to facilitate the development, implementation, and monitoring of UNICEF’s programmes. The role bridges operational delivery by liaising with Programme, Operations, Finance, Supply units, and external partners. Responsibilities include data analysis, budget tracking, reporting, and coordination to ensure effective delivery and compliance with organizational rules.

Key Functions & Accountabilities

Project Management & Partnership Coordination

  • Support project planning, implementation, and monitoring.

  • Liaise with implementing partners and government ministries.

    Data Management, Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and report programme data.

  • Identify trends and provide actionable insights.

    Grant Management & Budget Monitoring

  • Track budgets, grants, and financial compliance.

  • Prepare reports for management and donors.

    Digital Innovation & Operational Efficiency

  • Utilize AI‑powered tools and business systems for data analysis.

  • Automate reporting processes and ensure compliance.

    Communication & Knowledge Sharing

  • Draft clear reports, correspondence, and presentations.

  • Facilitate knowledge dissemination across teams.

    Capacity Building & Event Coordination

  • Support training sessions, workshops, and events.

  • Provide surge support when required.

    Minimum Requirements

  • Completion of secondary education (mandatory).

  • Minimum 6 years of administrative or clerical work experience.

  • Strong project management, collaboration, problem‑solving, and digital skills.

  • Fluency in English (mandatory).

    Desirable

  • Knowledge of another UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) or a local language.

  • University courses related to programme management.

  • Relevant experience in development, fragile, or humanitarian contexts.
