Job Purpose

  • Partner with the business to understand their needs and operating environment in order to transform business requirements into solutions exploiting IT capabilities and focusing on business satisfaction.

    Key Accountabilities (not all-inclusive)

  • Responsible to manage the ICT Application Team and coordinating support to Juba Business divisions.

  • Ensure that standard WFP software is being deliver correctly at Juba office by performing software distribution updates, scripting, testing and support

  • Support CRM, sugar CRM, activities

  • Support all data Integration projects between Comet, LESS, and Scope platforms to support Business reporting requirements

  • Proactively seek out and identify activities in the different functional areas for which ICT service solutions are required and in collaboration with user’s business plans.

  • Provide technical expertise in IT solution development, functionality, performance

  • Manage business expectations in servicing business needs and oversee success of solutions, seeking ongoing opportunities to support or increase the business value from those solutions.

  • Design, development and deployment of IT systems aligned with business needs ensuring compliance with WFP IT policies and procedures.

  • Manage incoming change, maintenance and support activities to maximize the business value of developed IT solutions.

  • Responsible for creating an intranet subject to the requirements and approval of Head of ICT, tasks shall include designing the new interface, producing customized reports, images and scripting, uploading and transfer of files, testing and debugging.

  • Shall develop the new intranet using most commonly known programming languages such as Python html php C and or other equivalent open source.
