Umma University Human Resource Assistant Jobs in Kenya

We are looking for a dedicated Chief Finance Officer with a commitment to excellence to enhance our financial operations.

This position is responsible for advising on the University strategies in order to achieve financial sustainability as well as prudent management of financial resources through continuous review of financial
controls.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Human Resource Manager
  • Analyzing the utilization of the human resource in the Department and advising on proper deployment;
  • Making proposals on Human resource planning and succession management;
  • Analyzing staff performance and career progression and making appropriate recommendations;
  • Ensuring correct interpretation and implementation of human resource management policies, rules and regulations including those relating to pensions, salary administration, labour laws and other statutes that
    impact on the human resource.

    Job Specification:

    The job holder must possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (HRM Option) or equivalent;
  • Higher Diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent;
  • 2 years’ experience in a busy Human Resource office;
  • Must be a registered member of a HR Professional body;
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the labor laws;
  • Demonstration of interpersonal skills and be a servant leader, creativity and ability to make decisions;
  • Must possess knowledge of Human Resource Information
    System;
