Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited Head Procurement and Disposal Jobs in Uganda

The desired person should have the following essential requirements:

1. University Degree in Procurement and Logistics Management or Procurement and Supplies Chain Management or Business Administration or Commerce or Economics or Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

2. Master’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.

3. Full membership of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).

4. At least five (5) years’ experience in Public Procurement Management, non – consulting services, works and consulting services.

5. Five (5) years’ proven experience at senior officer level in Procuring donor funded projects specifically African Development Bank (ADB), World Bank, Islamic Development Bank, JICA, European Union (EU) and BADEA.

6. Demonstrated experience in the project lifecycle management.

7. Ability to work as part of a team and to develop subordinates.

8. Understanding of significant legal and commercial issues within the supply chain.

9. Strategic thinking and ability to work and produce accurate results in an environment with multiple and challenging tasks.

10. Proven record of integrity.

11. Excellent interpersonal, particularly staff/management relation, oral and written communication skills.
