Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from Uganda Christian University.

  • At least one (1) year’s working experience in a recognized institution.

  • Experience being a student leader (Guild Official, Class Representative, Resident Assistant or Chapel Warden) will be an added advantage

  • A Training Certificate in Para Counselling Course will be an added advantage

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A committed Christian of high integrity who is able to maintain strict confidentiality.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the safety of all university property under the designated hall of residence or area of jurisdiction.

  • Requisition for detergents and equipment needed to clean Halls and their surroundings.

  • To report all malfunctioning, damaged or missing equipment/items in the Halls to the relevant Offices.

  • Uphold Health and Safety measures in the Halls of residence assigned.

  • Register, allocate rooms and collect keys at the end of the Semester and/or conferences from the residents in his Halls.

  • Supervise the Outsourced Cleaners assigned to work in Halls of residence to ensure cleanliness.

  • Oversee the student’s well-being and make necessary recommendations to either the Chaplain, Counselor, Director Medical or necessary office as the need arises.

  • Ensure that the Halls’ rules and regulations are upheld by all residents.

  • Any other official duties as may be assigned by the supervisors.
