Ubuntu Children Wellness Centre Housekeeping Supervisor Jobs in Kenya

Ubuntu Children Wellness Centre is a prestigious day Centre, which offers special education, occupational therapy and pediatric health / nutrition, is inviting applications from well qualified applicants for the following position by 8th April 2022: Housekeeping Supervisor

We are looking for a responsible, mature individual for the above role.

This individual will mainly be responsible for housekeeping and general hygiene management of Ubuntu Wellness Centre.

The applicant should be a team player with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Supervises the daily activities of the housekeeping team

Schedules team members in accordance with forecasted occupancy, and adjusts staffing as necessary for changes in occupancy

Together with Senior Housekeeping team, conducts daily and random inspections of Cwc property, all housekeeping areas, and follows-up where necessary

Oversees inventory, purchasing, disbursement, and cost control for all uniforms, cleaning supplies, and rest rooms supplies, laundry supplies, and housekeeping related machinery and equipment.

Schedules and supervises all rotational and special cleaning programs as required.

Team training and development.

Qualifications:

The interested candidate

should have:

Diploma in Housekeeping or any other equivalent qualification.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a busy institutional environment, preferably a reputable school or hospital or hotel.

At least 28 years old.

Should have worked as a housekeeping manager/ supervisor in a reputable institution.

Certificate of good conduct.

Experience:

Good Planning and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Good intra and interpersonal skills.
