Uasin Gishu County Senior Records Management Officer Jobs in Kenya



Requirement for appointment

  • Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Records Management, Information
    Science, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

  • Served in the in a comparable position for a minimum period of three (3) years;

  • Registered with the relevant professional body.

  • Proficiency in computer application skills; and

  • Demonstrate professional competence and management capabilities as reflected in work
    performance and results.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interpret and implement CPSB record management policies.

  • Develop records management systems.

  • Ensure file movement records are updated and maintained.

  • Oversee security of files and documents.

  • Ensure receipt and proper dispatch of mails.

  • Prepare appraisal and disposal schedules of files and documents in liaison with relevant
    departments and sections.

  • Prepare and submit plans and budget estimates for the registry.

  • Any other duties that may be assigned.

  • Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
