Job Summary
  • The Security/Receptionist is responsible for providing security and front desk support to the financial institution. The role requires a professional and customer-service oriented individual who can provide a welcoming atmosphere for clients and visitors.
  • The successful candidate will work with a team to maintain a secure environment for the organization.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front desk coverage by greeting visitors, answering inquiries and directing them to the appropriate department.
  • Ensure that all visitors sign in, wear identification badges, and are escorted to their destinations.
  • Monitor access control systems and surveillance cameras to maintain a secure environment.
  • Perform regular patrols of the premises to check for any security concerns and report any incidents or suspicious activity.
  • Respond to alarms and other security breaches in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform regular safety and security checks on equipment, such as fire extinguishers and security systems.
  • Assist in emergency situations such as fire, flood, or other crisis situations.
  • Provide assistance and support to staff and clients during emergency situations.
  • Act as a liaison with external security agencies, local law enforcement, and emergency services.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications
  • OND or equivalent; some college education preferred HND / B.Sc.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security and/or receptionist role.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of security systems, access control, and surveillance equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic computer
    skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
