Background and Context

Triggerise Stichting is a Dutch non-profit founded in 2014 that implements health and wellbeing programmes in seven countries, primarily in Sub-Saharan Africa and India. Triggerise has partnered with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ethiopia (EKN) since 2018 to support young women’s access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services and products via our mobile technology powered motivation platform and ecosystem. To date, our platform has connected over 75,000 adolescent girls and young women aged 15-24 to contraceptives and other health services through an established and vibrant ecosystem of providers in Addis Ababa and Afar.

In 2022 Triggerise Ethiopia has entered into a Results Based Financing (RBF) agreement with EKN for our work in SRH in Ethiopia. In the context of this new award, Triggerise is looking for an experienced operational leader to provide short-term support to the Ethiopia Operations team in setting up appropriate operational and performance management structures, processes, and methodologies to ensure our ability to deliver on our RBF targets. The time period for this assignment is 6-8 months, starting in July 2022.

Scope of Work

The operational consultant supports the local team in ensuring the successful and efficient implementation of all field operations across sub-cities in Addis Ababa and Bahir Dar. You assess and oversee the performance of our local team to ensure they are able execute our projects across the country.
The ultimate goal of this consultancy is to enable our team to hit the targets we have agreed with our donors. You will work closely with the local team, Platform Operations Director and other stakeholders. The main deliverables are:
