Tri B HR Consultants - Accountant - Jobs in Kenya

Our client in the financial management space providing innovative payment solutions is looking to fill in the role of:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a financial record-keeping, accounting and reporting system
  • Develop and manage budgets, preparing periodic reports
  • Prepare, review and ensure authorization of company expenditure in line with the set budgets
  • Preparation of respective monthly financial reports for management decision-making.
  • Evaluate business operations to ascertain accounting needs and recommend solutions to business and financial problems
  • Analyze, review and report on business operations, trends, costs, revenues and financial commitments.
  • Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance to tax requirements.
  • Ensure that proper books of accounts are kept in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards and the Kenyan law
  • Oversee the development and execution of administration policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the company’s procurement process

    Eligibility:
  • 5 – 7 years progressive experience in Finance / Accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Commerce/ or related field
  • CPA (K)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in use of an automated financial system / software
  • Proficient communicator at all levels, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
