Trócaire Women’s Empowerment Manager Jobs in Ethiopia; We work with local partners in the world’s most at-risk communities and with people in Ireland to tackle the underlying causes of poverty and injustice and respond to the crises they create. Together we bring about positive and lasting change for a just world.

Trócaire works in up to 20 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. We work towards five goals:

• Achieve Climate & Environmental Justice;

• Ensure Women & Girls’ Protection, Voice & Leadership;

• Save Lives and Protect Human Dignity and

• Mobilise the Public on the island of Ireland to achieve Global Justice.


Requirements

We would love if you have demonstrated leadership and management experience, as well as experience delivering programming to support women’s and girls’ protection, voice and leadership that is rooted in survivor-centred, feminist, participatory principles and is in line with international standards.

We are seeking someone with international experience, including in fragile or conflict-affected areas, and someone who is passionate about achieving gender equality and transformational change. We work in partnership with local organisations and are committed to supporting locally led responses, including by women-centred organisations, so experience in this area will be beneficial.
