The Opportunity

Join Trócaire’s dynamic and diverse Humanitarian team, where you will work as part of an innovative and collaborative team that has a focus on the implementation of high-quality humanitarian programming.

This is an excellent opportunity to grow and strengthen our work globally on Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) and Emergency Food Security and Livelihoods (EFSL) by increasing knowledge, ensuring quality and providing practical support and accompaniment to Trócaires country teams and partners. Requirements

You will report to Humanitarian Manager – Operational.The job opportunity will be offered on a specified purpose contract and is based in Ireland or Ethiopia

We’d love if you have international experience in implementing and managing CVA and EFSL programmes in different Humanitarian contexts and emergencies with practical knowledge and skills in applying quality Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) and Emergency Food Security and Livelihoods (EFSL) Programmes in line with Humanitarian principles and standards e.g.

Code of Conduct for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Disaster Relief, the Sphere Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards in Disaster Response, Core Humanitarian Standard; Minimum Environmental Requirements, Minimum Standards of Market Analysis
(MISMA), Minimum Economic Recovery Standards (MERS), Livestock Emergency Guidelines and Standards (LEGS) and Standards for Supporting crop related livelihoods in Emergencies (SEADs) etc.
