Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient outcomes

  • Provide healthcare services including IMCI, immunization, PMTCT, ante-natal care, and delivery

  • Offer health education and counselling to patients, clients, and communities

  • Refer patients and clients appropriately

  • Facilitate patient admission and initiate discharge plans

  • Maintain records on patients’ health condition and care

  • Ensure a tidy and safe clinical environment

  • Collect and compile health data

    Requirements for Appointment

  • Diploma in Nursing disciplines (Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, Kenya Registered Midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery, or Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry) from a recognized institution

  • Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya

  • Valid practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya

  • Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution
