Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide Environmental Health Extension services in area of deployment

  • Mobilize, sensitize, and advise communities on environmental health matters

  • Refer health cases to relevant health facilities

  • Carry out immunization programs

  • Identify environmental health issues at community level

  • Organize community health days to advise on public health issues

  • Collect and maintain up-to-date records of services rendered

  • Assess health needs of the community

  • Implement vector, vermin, and rodent control measures

  • Implement integrated mosquito control strategies

    Requirements for Appointment

  • Diploma in Environmental Health Science or Public Health Inspection from a recognized institution

  • Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution
