Tranquil Med Centre Laboratory Technologist Jobs in Kenya; The Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for conducting routine and specialized diagnostic tests to support clinical decision-making, ensuring quality and accuracy in laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, prepare, and analyze samples (blood, urine, etc.) for diagnostic testing.

Maintain accurate records of laboratory procedures and results.

Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Adhere to standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and infection control protocols.

Verify and validate test results before releasing them to clinicians.

Maintain inventory of reagents, consumables, and supplies.

Participate in internal quality control and proficiency testing programs.

Support clinical staff with relevant laboratory data for patient care.

Requirements

A Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a recognized institution.

Registration and valid practicing license from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).

At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or busy laboratory setting.

Familiarity with mental health-related lab testing is an added advantage.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.

Good communication and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
