Tranquil Med Centre Hospital Front Office Officer Jobs in Kenya; The Receptionist will be responsible for managing the front desk, handling billing and claims processes, and coordinating with insurance providers for patient admissions and discharges. The role requires excellent communication, administrative, and organizational skills in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and direct patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.

Manage incoming calls, inquiries, and appointment scheduling.

Handle patient registration and update medical records accurately.

Process billing, invoicing, and manage insurance claims.

Liaise with insurance companies for pre-authorizations, admissions, and discharge approvals.

Ensure all admission and discharge documentation is complete and processed on time.

Maintain an organized front desk and ensure confidentiality of patient information.

Support administrative and clerical tasks as assigned.

Requirements

A Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Secretarial Studies, Office Administration, or a related field.

MUST have at least 2 years of experience working in a hospital or medical facility front office, billing or claims management role.

Strong experience in billing, claims processing, and insurance liaison (SHA and private).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and hospital management systems is an added advantage.
