Tranquil Med Centre Cook Jobs in Kenya; The Cook will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals for patients, staff, and visitors while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and serve meals according to dietary requirements for different patients (including therapeutic diets).

Ensure food is cooked, stored, and served in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and food storage areas.

Work closely with nutritionists and clinicians to meet patient dietary needs.

Monitor food inventory and notify the supervisor for timely reordering.

Adhere to hospital food preparation policies, including portion control and hygiene standards.

Support kitchen assistants and supervise meal service as needed.

Requirements

A Certificate or Diploma in Food Production, Culinary Arts, or related hospitality field.

At least 2 years of experience as a cook, preferably in a hospital, school, or institutional setting.

Knowledge of hospital diets and food safety regulations is essential.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Must be organized, reliable, and able to work under minimal supervision.
