Description

Our client, Toyota Kenya Limited is a leading automobile distributor and service provider in Kenya. They wish to recruit for the position of Warehouse Technician to be based at their Nairobi branch.

Job Purpose

The jobholder is responsible for achievement of Central Parts Warehouse operational efficiency and customer service targets

Job Profile

Accurate receipt of parts packages from suppliers

Timely unpacking of parts and accurate verification of quantities using scanners

Sorting of parts from boxes to binning trolleys according to the storage zones

Binning of parts from zone trolleys to their respective bin locations

Picking of parts from bin locations as per picking labels

Sorting picked parts according to destination, in readiness for dispatch

Adhere to warehouse TSM Standards, Warehouse Policies and Procedures

Participate in perpetual and annual stock counts

Submission and implementation of at least one kaizen idea per year

Full participation in performance reviews, giving sincere and honest personal recommendation for development areas

Person Profile

Diploma in Business or Technical field

Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Working knowledge of SAP DBM or SAP WM and EPC is an added advantage

Basic knowledge of EHS

High integrity level

Excellent interpersonal skills

Flexible / Adaptable

Ability to work under pressure

Team player
