Job Description

Support the review of documents identified by the Surface QA/QC Lead and Engineering team.

Review and approve PQR, WPS, PWPS and NDT procedures to ensure compliance to COMPANY requirements.

Support large scale activities such as major Sub-CTR WPQ activities during execution by way of troubleshooting and providing guidance (best practice).

Provide feedback/guidance to the team where necessary resulting from documentation under review.

Ensure any deviations are clearly identified in the documentation under review.

Support the QA/QC Lead in highlighting the key areas of concern and effectively relay solutions to the relevant site teams alongside the Discipline leads.

Support, if needed the site (mission, welding trainings, etc.) and CTR suppliers/main sub-contractors as needed.

Candidate profile

Degree in Welding Engineering, or Internationally accredited/recognized diploma, qualification/certification such as IWE, C.Eng/I.Eng from a recognized academic institute.

Minimum 10 year’s related experience in multidisciplinary oil and gas projects in a similar role.

Very good knowledge of both Pipeline and Pressure Piping codes, standards, and applications.

Strong background/knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing – Radiography, Phased Array + Time of Flight Diffraction Ultrasonics and conventional Ultrasonics
