Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum BSc or MSc degree in Geology.

Minimum 5 years of experience as Geologist with practice in the following competencies: geological & structural interpretation, structural modeling, reservoir modeling, log interpretation, petrophysical synthesis & modeling, well preparation, uncertainty analysis, reservoir characterization.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

At the heart of the Tilenga development, you contribute to the preparation of more than 400 wells, the follow-up of their drilling operations and the integration of the well results into a comprehensive Subsurface synthesis of the area developed by these wells.

In line with the Reservoir Management Plan, prepare the Well Statement of Requirements in close collaboration with the Operation Geology, Geophysics, Reservoir Engineering and Drilling & Completion teams (objectives, well trajectory, target, section TD, data acquisition) and follow the execution.

During drilling operations, work together with the Ops Geology, geophysicist, reservoir engineers and Drilling teams to safely deliver the wells and achieve their objectives

Interpret and integrate the latest acquired data into a larger subsurface synthesis to keep on optimizing the reservoir development plan.

Apply the best practice in managing these data together with the Geoinformation team.

Participate in the analysis of the geological data and

Participate in the reservoir models update with new data collected during the drilling campaign and production phase

Contribute to the documentation and reporting required by the Company, the Partners and the Local Authorities (PRR, ARR, …)
