The County Government of Nakuru Interested persons to serve es members of the Board of Naivasha Water, Sewerage and Sanitation Company (NAIVAWASS). Naivasha Water, Sewerage and Sanitation Company Ltd to a company limited by shares and registered under the Company's Act. Cap 488 of the Laws of Kenya and given a certificate of Incorporation Number C 110181 on 8th September 2005.

NAIVAWASS is a wholly owned Water Service Provider (WSP) company of the County Government of Nakuru.

The mandate of the company is provision of water and sanitation services in Naivasha town and its environs In Nakuru County as per the Service Provision Agreement (SPA).

The company Is managed by a Board of Directors whose primary function is to provide strategic direction and oversight on the management duties and responsibilities in order to ensure that the long term goals of the company and the County at large are attained as planned.

The County Government of Nakuru wishes to fill two vacant positions from the following Stakeholder Groups:

  • One (1) member from Resident Organizations, CBO's & Business Community nominated by their bodies.
  • One (1) member from the Special interest Groups-Women Organizations, Pastralist, Youth, persons living with disability communities nominated by their representatives.

    NB

    The selection process shall he subjected to the Constitutional requirement of Gender Balance.

    Eligibility Criteria

    To be eligible, all applicants must:-

  • Be literate and numerate to at least 0 level (Those with Bachelor's Degree or Masters or Doctorate will have and added advantage).
  • Demonstrate experience and acumen In a business or any profession for at least 7 years.
  • Demonstrate participation in local development Initiatives.
  • Have experience as a Change Management Agent
  • Be a resident of Naivasha Sub County area and its
    environs.
  • Obtain a recommendation letter from the nominating body
  • Fulfill conditions of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership and integrity by submitting current copies of
  • Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal investigation, (DCI)
  • Clearance Certificate from Accredited Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
  • Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB].
  • Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
  • Clearance Certificate from the Ethics and Anti - Corruption Commission (EACC)
  • Clearance from Naivasha Water Sewerage and Sanitation Company (WM. SOW ate).
