Job Description

The Senior Protocol Officer have the following responsibilities:

Prepares regular reports and plans of the Commission

Arrange, organize and closely follow up on the necessary tasks that are related to national and international travels of the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner and liaise with the necessary parties involved
welcomes foreign and domestic guests of the Commission, identifies the guests/delegates grade, receives general information from the relevant body, and facilitates the logistical arrangement of the meeting or discussion;

Identifies presents/gifts to be awarded on behalf of the Commissioner and deputy Commissioner’s and orders/facilitates the purchase of the presents

By closely coordinating with his/her supervisor, the protocol arranges all matters related to travel like plane ticket purchase, visa acquision and accommodation… etc

Performs other duties guided by his/her supervisor.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

vMA/BA in Language, Literature, Political Science, International Relation or

related field, GPA for Male 3.00 and Female 2:8 and above

A minimum of 5/4 years of work experience in related field

Job Grade: VII
