The Commission on Administrative Justice Assistant Director- Supply Chain Management Jobs in Kenya

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee the development, implementation, and review of the Commission’s supply chain management policies, manuals, plans, regulations, and procedures.

Advise on all policy matters related to supply chain management.

Facilitate compliance with established and internationally recognized supply chain management procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines in all procurement transactions.

Monitor and evaluate usage of procured goods and services.

Introduce modern inventory management techniques and benchmarks.

Evaluate the performance of suppliers and contractors.

Facilitate payment of suppliers of goods and services.

Coordinate procurement market research.

Facilitate disposal of unserviceable stores.

Coordinate implementation of e‑procurement strategies.

Competencies & Requirements

Served in the grade of Chief Supply Chain Management Officer or its equivalent for a minimum of four (4) years.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing and Supplies Management, Procurement, Commerce (Supplies Management Option), Business Administration (Supplies Management Option), Marketing, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration (Supplies Management Option), or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Certificate in Leadership/Corporate Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.

Valid membership to a relevant professional body.

Meet the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Demonstrated high degree of professional competence, managerial and administrative capability as reflected in work performance and results.
