The Central Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency Hydro-Geologist II Jobs in Kenya; The Hydrologist will be responsible for Assessment of Ground Water, Surface water, modeling for purposes of Designs for Water and Sanitation Projects.

​​​​​​​Job Specifications

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.

Duties and responsibilities entail:

Carrying out hydro-geological, geo-technical, seismological and geophysical surveys on water projects;

Mapping, monitoring and evaluating groundwater;

Coordinating and administering hydro geological functions;

Formulating and reviewing policies on hydro geology;

Developing, implementing and realizing the division’s strategic plans and objectives;

Collecting data on hydro-geological, geo-technical and geophysical surveys on water projects.

​​​​​​​Person Specifications​​​​​​​

For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: -

Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Hydrology, Geosciences or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;

Registration with the Geological Society of Kenya;

Member of Geological Board of Kenya;

Proficiency in computer applications.
