Job Summary

Our client is a busy medium sized FMCG manufacturing company specialized in home and personal care products.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct and implement day to day factory operations such as production, manufacturing, QC, QA, Inventory Control, HR - IR, Safety, Accounts, Training, dealing with various Govt Dept. etc.
  • Increase production efficiencies, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards, while striving to improve over all GMP standards.
  • Leading and monitoring a highly skilled team of HODs and guide them meet their targets.
    Responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping.
  • Ensure site compliance status through various corporate / Regulatory audits.
  • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
  • Ensure environmental safety as well as protection in and around the plant.
  • Coordinate with different departments within the factory and make sure proper discipline is implemented / followed.
  • Implement strategies in alignment with corporate strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
  • Monitor operational hazards and trigger corrective actions.
  • Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff through training and proper KLAs.
  • Work closely with HR, to fulfill vacant positions by timely recruitment via placement agencies.
  • Collect and analyze data to find places of waste, overtime, cost outruns and implement
    ways of controlling it.
  • Responsible to adhere to fixed budgets set by the HO

    Requirements;
  • Age between 30 and 40 years
  • University degree
  • At least 5 years proven hands on experience managing a busy maintenance department
  • Possess overall plant management skills/experience
  • Proven ability to offer leadership/supervision to the production and maintenance teams in particular and to all plant staff in general to ensure minimum machine down time at optimal cost and overall efficient running of the plant
  • Training/ exposure in business management and procurement an added advantage
  • Experience and exposure to project design, costing, management, supervision and reporting
  • Thorough knowledge in the use of computers both as a working and reporting tool.
