Tetra Tech Procurement and Subcontracts Manager Jobs in Uganda

TETRA TECH International Services ( http://www.tetratechintdev.com ) is recruiting highly qualified candidates for the USAID-funded Uganda Sanitation for Health Activity.

The project works to increase household access to sanitation and water services, and improve health through hygiene behavior change campaigns in homes, schools and health facilities in up to 25 districts in Uganda.

The ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity and gender are essential requirements. Applicants with previous USAID experience are also encouraged. .

Procurement and Subcontracts Manager - Sanitation for Health Activity

• University degree in administration, or similar field (relevant experience and another university degree may substitute for the degrees mentioned)

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an equivalent position.

• Experience working in a similar position for an NGO or an international organization is preferred.

• Must have willingness to travel to Tetra Tech ARD Uganda field offices on Tetra Tech ARD business.

• Must also have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment.

• Skills Working knowledge of English, both written and spoken.

• Able to communicate fluently effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues.

• Must be capable of working both individually and as part of a team.

• Must also be able to create a supportive working relationship among all project teams.
