Tenwek Hospital ICT & Data Officer Jobs in Kenya;We are seeking an ICT & Data Officer to lead technical setup, support, and data management for Peek Technology and related digital health platforms, ensuring secure, reliable, and inclusive programme operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead setup, configuration, administration, and performance of Peek Technology

  • Provide first‑line technical support to project teams and remote users, ensuring timely resolution of issues

  • Ensure security, integrity, and appropriate use of project devices and data

  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Peek technical products and digital health technologies

  • Support smooth programme operations from a technical perspective and identify improvement opportunities

  • Collaborate with M&E Officer to develop, review, and improve eye, ear, and hearing data collection tools

  • Promote accurate and timely programme data reporting by supporting data entry into KHIS and other government systems

  • Lead Peek and KHIS training and user onboarding to ensure accurate data capture and reporting

  • Prepare and provide data to facilitate regular review meetings under guidance of Programme M&E

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support, including proficiency in
    ticketing systems (e.g., Jira)

  • Demonstrated experience supporting users of digital applications, preferably field‑based

  • Familiarity with web‑based applications, data platforms, and digital reporting systems

  • Public health experience (eye health, ear and hearing, or digital health programmes)

  • Experience with Peek Capture or similar digital health/data collection platforms (advantageous)

  • Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively to project implementation sites

  • Good understanding of inclusive programming, disability inclusion, safeguarding, and protection principles

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with government, donors, health facilities, and partners
